  4. I know they get used to it, but it seems so hard…I would want to spread all this out over the course of the day! For a time, I cooked for zen retreats, and the food was kept simple, but we had three meals. None of this one meal stuff! 😉

    • Most Thai are Theravada Buddhists, and so, as I understand it, monks can eat pork, chicken and fish so long as the animal was not killed, or they are not aware it was killed, specifically for them to eat.
