    • The Cham are a Southeast Asian ethnic group who mostly live in Cambodia and Vietnam. The Cambodian Cham- there are about 220,000 0f them- are mostly Muslim. The Vietnamese Cham, who number about 160,000, are mostly Hindu.

The Cambodian Cham were a particular target of the Khmer Rougue and they lost almost half of their population during Pol Pot’s regime.
The Cham usual work the rivers.

Kampot is a province in the southeast of Cambodia.

Thanks for the comment- I appreciate it.

  1. This is so great to see, thanks for sharing! I remember staying in a house on the river two times now and watching the fishing boats go out to see and the roaring sound in the morning when they returned! Cant wait to go back!
    Cheers, Ron
