Welcome to Cambodia: What Australia isn’t telling refugees

DSC_0100

Around 18% of Cambodia’s 15 million people survive on less than $0.93 (£0.61) a day.

Take a one-way ticket out of a Pacific island detention centre and you could start a new life in a country [Cambodia] where you are told jobs are waiting, quality medical services are available, and there are no problems with violent crime or even stray dogs.

Utter nonsense and lies, of course. As the Australian government well knows.

The BBC shows why in this article, here.

Still, money for jam to Cambodia’s kleptocracy who will siphon off a large chunk of the Australian dollars being paid out on this grubby deal.
